Brighten up your Sunday morning with this gorgeous avocado toast!

Did you know… Avocados are considered a “Super Food” because they are so rich in nutrients, vitamins and minerals. They are also a good source of monounsaturated fatty acids and are low in sugar.
Adjust serving size:

  • 1 egg sunny side up
  • 1/4 teaspoon avocado oil
  • 1 sprouted grain - or gluten-free bread slice
  • 1/4 avocado - ripe but firm sliced
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
  • 1/4 cup sprouts or baby greens

How to Make:

  1. Preheat a small skillet over medium-heat, add the avocado oil and swirl to coat the pan.
  2. Reduce the heat to low, crack the egg into the pan and cover. Cook for about 5 minutes or until the egg is done to your liking.
  3. Lightly toast the bread.
  4. Slice the avocado, spread it onto the toast, and garnish with the seasonings. Add the sprouts, and then the egg, and garnish again.
If you have the "everything but the bagel" seasoning from Trader Joes, it's awesome on this!
