Cauliflower. Plain, simple, and on its own, rather unimaginative. But roasted with garlic herb butter? Until the edges get all browned and caramelized? Delish!

How to Make:

  1. Preheat oven to 400° and place rack in the middle of the oven.
  2. Add the the butter, garlic and seasonings to a small mixing bowl and stir to combine.
  3. Slice off the cauliflower stem, place the head cut-side down, and then slice two half inch-thick steaks from the center.
  4. Place the steaks onto a parchment lined baking sheet, and then coat both sides with the garlic butter blend.
  5. Roast for about 20 minutes, flipping after the first 10.
  6. Serve immediately.
