Pan Seared Pork Chops with Lemon-Herb Sauce
This is a super quick and tasty, easy-to-follow recipe that comes packed full of flavor!

Note: Each pork chop should be about 1” thick. If this is unavailable, you may need to purchase one thick pork chop and slice it lengthwise down the center. You may switch out the pork for chicken or beef if you prefer. The sauce will be delicious on whichever you choose! Cooking time may vary.

Pairs well with a side salad, cauliflower mashers or sautéed mushrooms.
Adjust serving size:

  • 2 boneless pork chop
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper omit for AIP
  • 1 teaspoon avocado oil
  • Lemon-Herb Sauce
  • 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 lemon use 2 tablespoons juice
  • 2 tablespoons shallot sliced thin
  • 2 garlic cloves sliced thin
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil
  • 1/4 cup cilantro
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley

How to Make:

  1. Add all of the lemon-herb sauce ingredients to the bowl of a food processor, purée and set aside.
  2. Pat the pork chops dry and sprinkle both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat the avocado oil in a heavy skillet over high-heat, add the pork chops and sear for a minute on each side.
  4. Reduce the heat to low and continue to cook for just a couple of minutes on each side {depending on the thickness}. Take care not to overcook them or they'll dry out.
The best way to make sure they are done is to use an instant-read thermometer. It should read 165° when fully cooked.
  5. Plate the pork chops and drizzle the lemon-herb sauce over the top.
