Homemade Sausage Patties
Making fresh sausage patties from scratch is quick, easy, healthier and taste much better than the store-bought stuff. Just organic turkey and spices, exactly how it should be!

Did you know... Turkey is a rich source of protein, and also contains the amino acid tryptophan, which produces serotonin and plays an important role in strengthening the immune system.

How to Make:

  1. Place the ground turkey into a large bowl; add the spices and mix until they are evenly distributed throughout the meat. Add a splash of extra-virgin olive oil if using lean ground turkey; this adds extra moisture so your patties aren’t dry.
  2. Shape into four 2 oz patties - the turkey tends to be less sticky if your hands are slightly wet.
  3. Preheat a large skillet over medium-heat and place the sausage patties into the hot skillet. Cook until browned, about 4-5 minutes, flipping half way through. Be careful not to overcook them or they’ll dry out.
  4. Serve immediately and/or store the remainder in the refrigerator for future use.
