Popcorn is the perfect snack - it's crunchy, low-cal, and it's 100% whole grain. And you'll never get bored because it's endlessly customizable!

Did you know... One cup of popcorn has only a trace amount of fat and no cholesterol, and is a source of dietary fiber and nutrients, such as manganese, iron and magnesium.

Note: You'll need an air popper for this recipe.
Adjust serving size:

  • 1/4 cup organic non-gmo popcorn kernels
  • 2 tablespoons organic grass fed butter or use ghee, evoo, or coconut oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt

How to Make:

  1. Place the air popper onto the counter and remove the cover from the base. I like to place a towel under it so it stays put.
  2. Pour the kernels into the base of the unit.
  3. Position a large bowl bowl beneath the chute of the cover to catch the popcorn as it flows out of the base.
  4. Turn it on. Once it's warmed up, the kernels will start popin!
  5. Meanwhile, melt your butter {if using} - more or less may be used. If you're watching your calories, you may want to use a spray oil; olive or coconut oils are a great choice for this.
  6. Using your hands, transfer the popcorn to another bowl, and then discard any un-popped kernels from the bottom of the bowl - this ensures no broken teeth ;)
  7. Evenly drizzle the butter/ oil over the popcorn. Add the seasonings - more or less may be used; toss the popcorn gently to coat evenly.

Remember... popcorn is endlessly customizable! Anything goes... think onion powder, paprika, cumin, cayenne, honey, cinnamon, nutmeg... the possibilities are endless!
